Lady of the Lake
and the Magical Sword

Original Piece Information:

The original  Lady of the Lake and the Magical Sword was created in colored pencil, watercolors, ink and measures 11 by 17 inches in size. This piece was done for the Arthurian Legend art show and the story is as follows:  The magical sword Excalibur was given to King Arthur by the Celtic goddess, Lady of the Lake.  King Arthur gave it back to her before he died and it now remains with her.  In this piece you see Lady of the Lake holding Excalibur, after it was given back to her, before she plunges down into the deep waters.
