Inspiration for the piece: I love toads and always knew that where there are toads, there usually are fairies!  When I was a wee one, we had a hillside rock garden filled with rocks and small logs we collected from our many camping trips, and we planted fragrant clumps of flowers here and there amongst the rocks.  In spring, toads were everywhere in the garden and I loved to sit there playing or dreaming, hoping I'd spy a fairy!  The garden seemed especially magical when bathed in the glow of sunset!
