Inspiration for the piece:  The inspiration for Birch Ballet is simply my love of horses and the divine and magical connection you can feel with one you know well, even reading one another's thoughts, movements, and play.....enchanting as a beautiful ballet!  Each summer when we vacation at Lake Tahoe we rent local horses and ride in a beautiful birch forest, through meadows, down to the lake on the west shore...it is one of my favorite places on Earth--pure magic and most certainly enchanted!
